Could you name the prospects the Cubs would give up in this deal?

My point is, the Cubs have nothing in the minors to give up, and no one wants Schwarber.

Yeah dude, I'm pretty sure if the Cubs offered everyone in the farm system we could land him.

No they couldn't. Name those players.

So you're telling me a trade involving over 100 players on one side, and a single player on the other wouldn't get done?

Let's us be realistic here.

3rd time, name the prospects it would cost the cubs to acquire Syndergaard.

Are you trying to get me to admit the Cubs farm system is very thin right now? Because I agree with you. I'm pretty sure I've stated as much in the past.

Any trade for Thor would feature Cubs players already on the major league roster with a throw in minor league player or two.

Without knowing much about the Mets current situation, it would seem hard to believe that they would be looking to compete by trading one of the best pitchers in the league. Assuming that, what top 100 type prospects do the Cubs have to offer?

Would the Mets be interested in a combination of Almora, Happ and Schwarber? Potentially two of them plus whatever the Cubs can offer in the minors?

Hard to see another team not being able to offer a better offer than this.

They need to continue adding pitching. I think they have enough starting pitching to make it to July, but I think Darvish is their big off-season acquisition at this point, especially with Hamels locked up for next season already.

That bullpen though looks like a mess to me.

Goldschmidt is supposedly on the market too. I know the Cubs dont have enough to offer. But I would rather have Goldy than Harper in Wrigley.

Not buying people want Scwarber. Compare his stats to Palka, Schwarber has 40 more BB, outside of that, identical.

A guy picked up off the scrap heap with a ginormous hitch in his swing can put up the same numbers as the modern day Babe Ruth. Damn

Outside of Contreras/Baez being thrown into the mix, what combination would satisfy NY? Obviously, any trade with the Cubs would mean the Mets are actually trying to win next season despite trading their ace.

Only if the first 100 attendees at the game get a chance to brush his hair before each start. Golden locks of hair.

A top 20 pitching prospect.

Baez will never have more value than he does right now. I'd make him a part of the trade if that's what it takes.

If I'm the Cubs, and I think Bryant's power is never going to be elite again, I'm including Bryant.
