I don't think Mike's been happy with 93XRT since they aired commercials on 670 "The SCORE" during White Sox game broadcasts and has been privately angry with management for cross-promoting what he felt was a "rival radio station", even though WXRT & WSCR have been under the same CBS Radio umbrella for many years. Then again, I don't think he's happy to be sharing the same offices & studios with "Chicago's Finest Rock" at NBC Tower after being across the hall at 4949 W. Belmont for about a decade.

Well, he's a moron. The chances of a score listener not knowing about the North show, and having opinions as to whether he should listen to a show is much greater than an XRT listener going "hey maybe I'll listen to Mikey tomorrow morning."

Advertising on your station, FOR your station, is money well wasted. In my pov, anyway...

Jen Jen would be sooo pissed not to be the hottest girl at a radio station. It's easy at the Score since she's the only girl. She would not like the competition at all. She'll no longer be the sole center of attention. Not just by Pappy but by all of the weird, desperate hosts/producers at the Score.

I remember when i got my internship at XRT. I went to Columbia and had Hemmert as a teacher and had a stereotype that all the women at XRT would be like that. I remember walking in and seeing this hot ass secreatary and while I was waiting 2 or 3 good looking women walked by, and not just sales ladies.

Then this promotions director walked out and she was tall, curvy and fuckin way hot. And all these chicks at XRT are hot in a sort of getable way even for an ugly dude like me. They look like chicks that hang out in Wicker Park but not to much because it's to hip and chicks that you would see in the bleachers at Wrigley but are to modest for that, the type of chick who you think is hot and might dig you, until the bass player from Wilco comes and takes her away...asshole.

Look up Kristin Kay at WXRT - the pride of Mother McAuley after Jenny McCarthy - her real name isn't Kay but it starts with a K and she played basketball there. (hello WNBA) She told me this when I saw her at a remote a couple years ago and she told me she had a boyfriend; Bobby Skafish was there and said "no she doesn't."
