Daniel was distracted or he just has bad hands in shot gun snaps. He's a tough sob. He made some great passes at the end when it was crucial. He consistently under throws or hangs mid+ to long passes which is why he's a career backup. His first move avoiding a near rusher is non-existent. With all his faults he's still one of the best backups the Bears have had in awhile. Can he win a must win regular season or playoff game against a top tier team? I hope we never have to find out.

I am glad things are getting back to normal around here.

Daniel did not look fine last week. Not sure why everyone keeps saying he did. We where lucky to come out with a W last week. I texted my dad last week and said this just shows how much better the offense is with Mitch. Not surprised they lost. Daniels sucks and should not be a back up in the league. One of the worst QB performances I have seen since pre-Cutler.

Parkin's thoughts on pretty much everything he talks about are often more wrong then right. Only good thing about him is he isn't Bernstein or Goff and tries to keep it sports related.

Agree.. He can't make the throws, poor pocket presence and takes too many sacks when he should be throwing the ball away. Draft his replacement this year in the 5th round.

He's a serviceable backup...he did get the jitters, but he has almost never played in this league. The missed snaps and fumbliness were the only real unaccetables.

2-1 was fine.

Bears get blown out if he plays against the Rams.

Of course, I'd be looking for his replacement this off-season.

I knew that this was going to be a tough game. Credit to them for coming back in the game. They needed a break and didn't get it. Good news is that both Minn. and GB lost also. With (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky, this game would have been a 3-4 touchdown win. I think they will beat the Rams next week.

I just am amazed at the panic on the part of quite a number of people on this board because they lost to the Giants. Suddenly some guys are talking like they've lost the play-offs. All this despite both Green Bay and the Vikings losing also. Its a joke really. This is a very good team with (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky playing. Very good.
