Tuesday night is the Lottery. I got my fingers crossed that somehow the Bulls or Knicks get the number 1 pick, to draft Rose. Those are my 2 favorite teams, and both are in need of a PG, in the worst way.

Factually speaking, the Miami Heat have the most lottery balls because they had the NBA's worst record. Then again, there are times where a team with the most lottery balls doesn't win the #1 overall pick. I tend to think the Bulls & Knicks will be in the middle of the pack when the NBA Draft Lottery takes place on that "Match Game"-like set tomorrow in Secaucus, NJ on ESPN before the Pistons & Celtics play Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Boston.

Part of Napoleons master plan for the NBA is to get the Sonics out of shithole Seattle and into beautiful and marketable Oklahoma City. A Durant and Rose lead team would be a contender for years and Napoleons ultimate and final middle finger to Seattle. The Sonics will get the first pick.

In the lottery. We were supposed to pick 9th. We are in the top 3. Commercial break now. We'll see in a few minutes if we get Beasley or Rose.

Please #1. Like B&B said, getting #1, to draft Rose is the only way this gets better next season.

I still say we're get the 3rd pick, which may be more dissapointing to come that close to one of those top two guys.

I know, I'm watching, but why would the Bulls automatically move way up?

That's a pretty stupid statement. Beasley would be a starter next year for the Bulls too.

You have to love the NBA. The future of the Bulls franchise has been changed by this "lottery".

Me - I think Rose is a game changer and will continue to be at the next level. I like Beasley too but I might be naive but with a great PG, you can get enough out of Gooden on the block.

Rose. Hometown kid, plus you cant pass on a dominant PG, even for a dominant PF, assuming they both live up to the hype.

Look what Chris Paul did to Chandler. We may see Rose do the same for Tyrus Thomas.

(I am not saying Rose is Chris Paul, but he is going to be a game changing PG)

FavreFan,
I agree that Rose is the pick, but let's not go crazy with the hometown kid angle.

Eddy Curry was a hometown kid too.

Derrick Rose is the big point guard that elevates the quality of NBA teams. He is a good shooter, has great quickness, instinctive moves and quickness with the ball, is a very good passer with good court vision and seemingly has the intangibles that separate a good player from a great one. I don't understand how people think Beasley will dominate at the NBA level. I don't see it. Unlike college ball, he won't be bigger, faster and stronger than the guys that are guarding him. His post moves are ok, but far from superior. He got so many of his points right around the hoop and I don't see that happening in the NBA. He is going to need to hit the 10 foot J to complement his dribble drives and post moves. His unorthodox shot makes that something of a guess. Beasley might be a decent NBA player, but I don't believe he will post the numbers that Elton Brand had in his first five years. Would you take that as your #1 pick? On the other hand, Rose will be a great one for years. It's Rose for me.....and I'm not sure I'd even make Beasley a top five pick, let alone the top one.
