But we don't really need advice or comment from the likes of Baby McNown, and if the purpose of bannings is to improve the board and make it more "readable", there isn't much argument against banning McNown, is there? I don't think I've ever complained about missing his great Bears thoughts. I find them adequate at best and his Nagy thoughts are ridiculously stupid.

I thought the purpose of the banning was that he was consistently saying very blatantly racist and anti semitic shit, and doing so at particularly sensitive times like after the Pittsburgh shooting. I could be off base here but I thought that was why he was banned, as a response to Tall Midget and others pointing this out. If readability was a factor my guy LTG would've been launched a while back.



I wasn't talking about you specifically. There was a whole thread advocating for the return of this shitheel based largely upon some apparent Bears knowledge that none of the other NFL fans that post here can provide.

As for the reasons for banning, I think this touches on why it's probably best to just let it all be. Every person will have his/her own reasons for why someone should or shouldn't be banned. It's not like we all are unaware that there are scumbags in the world like the guy in question. What good does banning really do? It's just a matter of we now don't have to read such shit here. But then it becomes a game to create new accounts and it's really just tiresome.

When America/New Zealand was rolling with the racism and antisemitism the board was unreadable. He is a huge instigator and turned the board into a sewer. It was clear to EVERYONE the instant improvement in board civility and attitude once he was thrown into the dumpster.
