So much for so-and-so's theory that Seattle would get the first pick.

I finally am done thinking about this Bulls season, the most dissappointing season I can ever remember. It's all good vibrations till next November.

Let's wait until the draft. Paxson may think Kevin Love is just what the Bulls need. :)

We still need a coach though Paxson should be able to get the pick of the litter left

Bulls should package the #1 for an all star player.. The bulls already have young core... How many more years of draft picks do you need.

Unless that All Star is named Kobe or Lebron, keep it.

Wow. Awesome. Tough call: take Rose to pair up with Deng or move Deng and go for Beasley. Beasley seems like he could be scoring 20 a game by the next All-Star break.

Kirk sucks. He can't be a PG on a contender. Please find a way to dump him Pax.

Hey, how pissed is D'Antoni now?

Good luck with the Knicks. Seriously, he has to be kicking himself now. I know he's making millions but that Knick job might be his last after they suck for 3 years.

Now coaches will be begging the Bulls to hire them. There really isn't anybody that stands out. Maybe you hire a guy for 1 year and get a good one next year.

Pax is having a nice night.

Great night for the Bulls.

I think both Beasley and Rose are going to be great NBA players, but they HAVE to go with the hometown kid Rose!

Did you guys see the Timberwolves' Fred Hoiberg when he found out they got the 3rd pick? I thought he was going to throw the teddy bear the kid who has had over 100 medical procedures gave him for good luck.

Actually, not to be a total jagoff, but if the kid has had over 100 procedures, maybe he oughta ditch the bear.

According to ESPN.com's Chad Ford, he's already got the Bulls selecting Kansas State forward Michael Beasley with the Miami Heat drafting Memphis guard Derrick Rose with the #2 pick in an early mock NBA Draft. If I was Bulls' GM John Paxson, Derrick Rose is the easy top pick. Derrick is the kind of floor leader the Bulls are lacking and makes things happen. I haven't seen much of Beasley, but I've watched a great deal of Rose dating back to when he starred for Simeon High School and quite a few of those games that aired on WWME "Me TV" 23 & WCIU 26 "The U". Rose is the kind of talent that'll fill arenas across America, sell plenty of team swag, and actually could help the Bulls become a team the NBA's broadcast partners will want to put on its air nationally. He's the kind of player who will make everyone around him that much better. The Bulls better NOT screw this up, despite the overwhelming odds they wouldn't earn the third pick, let alone the first pick in the June 26th NBA Draft!

Indisputably the Bulls must select Beasley. A team does not win championships built around a guard unless that guard is named Michael Jordan. I am named Michael Jordan but I am not Michael Jordan the way I was Michael Jordan.

Beasley would give them a scorer that is most definitely needed. If I was the Bulls GM, it would be a no brainer. Hansbrough has the right lineage as well but he's clearly not available and he's no Walter Davis in any respect.

Just like Adam Morrison was the scorer you needed down in Charlotte?
