Yeah, it got pretty sad at the end. But from 7-10 it was pretty good.

I started at 7.

I think that ESPN may have backed into something since HBO quit on boxing. Some of us old farts may want to watch this sport again.

 I was thinking the same thing. This promo I'm thinking "there's another fight next week"? Hmmm.

It's like Cosell doing the ABC Larry Holmes fights back in the '80s.

THEY ARE FREE!!!

I was kind of hoping ESPN would cut down on the in-between fight filler.

When Max Kellerman elbows Teddy Atlas out it'll be better.

They announced earlier Max is going to host his own weekly boxing show on ESPN soon. I don't recall if they said he's calling fights as well. Wouldn't surprise me.

I just caught this ESPN boxing accidently. Watching it now. saw the featherweight fight. Very good fight. Not sure if this tape delayed or not. Feels like a big time production. Very nice. I guess like someone said they're filling the HBO void. It's like back in the day when you could watch quality fights for free on tv.

ABC used to have live fights on Thursday nights.

It's where I first saw Carl "The Truth" Williams.

Just saw the filler feature on the russian guy. Never heard of him before but he's got some swag and theatrics which I like in figthers. They got me hooked now to see this fight he's in.

And where Ray Leonard cashed in on his gold medal. Forty one years ago

Lot of celebs and ex champs in the audience. Maybe ESPN paid them to be there but who cards, makes it feel important.

Now I need fighters to come into the arena with hot cuts like Tyson did with Method Man and Wu.

I guess I have to root for Lomachenko.

We do more work for Ukraine than we do for Puerto Rico.

i didn't understand that but the Mike Tyson I remember under Custamado had no fan fare coming in. He would walk in fast to the ring, black trunks, black shoes, beat the shit out of the other guy, and left. No music, no lights, no songs. All business. Mike Tyson was so awesome pre-Don King.

That venue seems very claustrophobic.

Low ceiling.

Maybe it's the camera angle.

Is it the full stadium or like a "MSG Theatre"?

No, he cut a hole in a hotel towel that he wore like a poncho

And came into the ring with Bring The Pain by Method Man blaring.
