It's amazing how good a team can look when they have a flag thrown on the other team every third play.
The story here is how terrible Atlanta is. They stink! P.U.

I will enjoy watching the Bears crush this newfound Packer optimism next week.

The expected bump with a new coach, and playing a terrible dome team in cold weather can make anyone look good.

Bears should win by at least 7-10 points on Sunday.

Yup. If the Bears can get out to a strong 20-0 start the lead should be insurmountable.

Yup. If the Bears can get out to a strong 20-0 start the lead should be insurmountable.

This is a much different Bears team today than it was in week 1. The same can be said of the Packers.

One team has improved and is MANY times better than way back then. The other team fired coaches, and has lost MANY games.

I love Joe Philbin's rapid-fire approach to using his challenges. The Bears are going to have to do some serious game planning to counter that innovation.

I said they wouldn’t miss him and he was a bad player. Both are true. I never said they would get better. I said the loss wasn’t a loss at all and his play this year has verified that.

That's meaningless unless you are prepared to take the bold stance that free safety has the biggest impact on games out every position on the roster when the truth is it usually has close to the least.

Eddie Jackson is a free safety.

I think you are mistaken in what you think the discussion was about. Go back to the thread. As I said, trading a 60 or so game starter while at .500 is waving a white flag.

If Dix's presence or his lack of presence influenced the outcome in even one game then that trade took them out of the playoffs. One game and they would be 6-6-1, just half a game behind the Vikings for the last spot.

I was never confused about the topic. You and Frank were several times, since you seem to think I said they would be better without him when I never did.

Your last sentence would be correct if the "if" part was true but it is not, and actually his presence seems to have torpedoed Washington's once-solid defense.

HHCD is a bad player and it's difficult to argue GB did not get the better end of the deal. It's really that simple.

Production at free safety since HHCD left is not why they are 2-4. The trade was brilliant in selling high on name recognition/pedigree rather than results.

1) Stop stealing my bits
2) That was a brilliant trade launching a starter in the middle of the playoff hunt and subsequently being eliminated from the playoff race and getting a coach fired.

It's that simple if your intent was to white flag the season. If your intent was to compete, the team became worse. It's really THAT simple.

But the team didn't become worse and you have yet to show any evidence they did. Records without context doesn't do it. Their defense has been no worse since the trade than it was before.

However, on the other side, Washington has unarguably been a worse defensive team since acquiring HHCD. He's a bad player that makes teams worse when playing for them.

Washington has gone in the tank since they acquired him. He is also divisive in the locker room. Absolutely no one should sign him for anything more than a 1 year deal with no guaranteed money. Packers D has been fine in all these losses. The offense has been awful. Smooth move by Gute to dump him on a playoff team and have him take them out of the playoffs.

You are confused. You said the Packers would be better without Dix. I said when a team loses their starting safety they aren't better. Given their record since the trade, I was correct.

I'll PM your sig to you later on.

Losing 2 quarterbacks is the reason Washington is losing. Packers fans are flailing. It puts a smile on my face.

I never said the Packers would be better without him. That's why I said you were confused. I said they are the same defense without him and the numbers bear that out.

It's not a coincidence that every Packer fan that posted about HHCD in this thread has been proven correct and every Bear fan has been proven wrong. Maybe next time you guys should realize that other teams fans probably know more about their players than out of towners.

Looking forward to the sig when GB is eliminated from the playoff race. As of now they're still in the hunt!

If any of you have followed HHCD on twitter and also seen him play a good amount of snaps the last 3 years you will know what is up with him. He finished his degree in criminal justice and IIRC got a masters in it and is actively involved with law enforcement back in Florida. He is preserving his body while maximizing his bank account. He is going to take his signing bonus, play next year and then retire early in the 2020 season citing concussions.

Look at the clip from yesterday. He took an INTENTIONALLY lazy angle and provided an escort to the endzone for Barkley. He routinely showed up just after an opponents TD catch when he was on the Packers. He hovers around looking for easy int's but ignores his primary responsibilities to do so. When he provides help over the top he usually turns himself around and runs himself out of the play. He refuses to make any type of hard contact.

He can still play, he was good as hell his first 2 years, he just doesn't want to.

Blaming Dix instead of dicks for the Packers suckage is embarrassing.
