IMU, listen to those who actually pay attention to the league. That’s the lesson here.

An aging and checked out Rodgers and Cousins is going to make the Bears frontrunners for a while.

I truly thought the Bears were still the worst team in the North going into this season with an outside shot to overtake the Lions. And now (correctly), we are talking about potential North dominance for 2018 and beyond. Amazing how quick things change in the NFL.

This is why when you need a quarterback you pick the best one available with a first round grade and hope for the best. At least if they struggle at times, like (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky has, they aren't making more money than Beyonce to do it.

Also probably likes Nickelback.

11 minutes of action in a NFL game. No wonder it's a coach driven league where having a bag of tricks makes you good.

I'm not really sure this is that applicable to the Vikings since they had 2 competent quarterbacks on their roster last year they could have kept for a whole lot less money than they paid Cousins.

They thought they were getting an elite QB.

I love baseball too, but the downtime in MLB is getting atrocious. Also, the managers there don't even do anything anymore except for plug and play exactly how a computer tells them to.

Keenum was going to be expensive too though. He wouldn't have been as expensive though.

This is just foolish. Comparing Cousins to Keenum. We get it; you hate the Vikings and are ecstatic the Bears are in first. Great! But Keenum doesn't hold a candle to Cousins. And there isn't some big group of Vikings fans that think the issue is Cousins. DeFilippo has gotten stupidly 'cute' over the past 5 or 6 weeks. He sees the things McVay and Nagy successfully pull off and says 'personnel be damned we can do the same!' He has no idea how to conduct a balanced offense and he has no idea how to take advantage of his personnel. "We have three pretty decent receivers that excel in the slot...how about we run 30 yard flies every play and try the back shoulder two plays every set of downs!" Dalvin Cook was targeted 17 times in the last two weeks ...he only had a couple more rushing attempts than that. He isn't Tarik Cohen! Let him get back to what made him extremely successful last year to start his career. BAD PLAY CALLING.

And that the Vikings overpaid for a different version of Blake Bortels.

I think Cousins is good, but when you get paid what he does simply being good isn't good enough. I'm not blaming him for taking the contract but when you sign on the dotted line you can't say things like that it was "cute" playcalling over the last 5 or 6 weeks that is the problem.
