Why?

Harper's left handed bat fits the lineup much better and it would be much easier to move guys around him than it would to move guys around Machado. Plus Machado comes with a lot of baggage. Maybe too much.

I agree on Machado, but so so on the RFer. At this point, no one on the FA market is interesting. It would be giving up assets in a trade. I would like to see them explore a trade with Arizona for Greinke. Not sure if they have any RFers.
