fuck Christmas music.

I'm sick and tired of the same fuckin songs, over and over and over, no matter where u go , store, restaurant, whatever.

Since fuckin Novemeber 1, it's the SAME fuckin thing all over the place.

You know what? I DONT WANNA HEAR THAT SHIT UNTIL A WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS.

But how bout you? Have u ever gotten into a fight with someone over playing Christmas music? Like, they wanted to have the radio playing Xmas music all day, and you didnt?

Did it result in a fistfight? Who won?

Last year I was doing rehab for a knee thing and had to go to this place three times a week. They played only the Mix (I think it was that) but I was there every day at 7:45 AM and maybe there for about 45 minutes. Every single day I would hear George Michael's "This Christmas" -- such a stupid song to begin with, but there was no way to not hear it. They had to have some sort of playlist that said these songs need to be played in this half hour block or something.

I really dislike Christmas in general. It is great for kids, so I do like it for them, but once you are 15 or older, I don't care about Christmas for you. I also hate ceremonies in general, which I recognize is not a favorable opinion, but all of this is really annoying to me.

Everything those songs sing about, ends up serving the opposite purpose, i.e. commercialism and the loss of meaning of it. Pisses me off.

I love it. I'm all in from the Friday after Thanksgiving. The next two months are horrible. Need to savor this time.

I agree with BRick. I start Black Friday and try to be on Disney property. February, Smarch, March, and April all still suck.

How's this any different than hearing "Happy" or "Blurred Lines" 4,000 times a week?

besides the batch of cringeworthy shitstorm ear blisters, i too will begin christmas listening pretty much on thanksgiving. i like some of the classics but mostly lean toward the lesser known stuff since it isn't overplayed.

there's a mannheim channel this season on sirius that has played my favorite version of "away in a manger" enough times to make it worth it.

"Last Christmas" is a chord progression ripoff of "Joanna" by Kool and the Gang. Or vice versa. Either way, I think there should be a moratorium on that song until a full investigation is conducted.
