If Bowman were smart, he would start shipping talent off.

I'm pretty confident that Stanley is smart and has plans in place depending on how this team gels with these new guys on the roster. Their team size and speed has really picked up. Strome and Perlini are starting to look like top draft picks.

They've suddenly become a pretty fun watch.

You are either winning the cup or trying to get a lotto pick. Start packaging guys that are not going to be here long term. AA and Keith come to mind of having value. Crow would of before the concussion. His hockey career is probably over now.

Keith is untradeable at the moment. 4 more years after this season at a $5.5M cap hit.

I want them to win and am enjoying them in spurts as well. I just love da Cat.

Yeah have to enjoy the Hawks for what they are era wise. Look for the new bright spots to gel with the leftovers. You can hope some big contracts go away is pointless until they do. Seems weird some can’t enjoy the past 8 years and ride this current tide without being miserable.

Oh wait one guy tried to make us miserable through the whole fucking high times.

If we're going to keep Stan and Colliton around (though I'm not sure we should), I'm not sure what good it does to sabotage the future with a tank. The lottery percentages have been significantly flattened, all you can really do is play out the string and finish where you finish. That should be low enough without forcing it.

Personally, it’s been a nice cycle with the Hawks, then Cubs, and now Bears. A little bit more Bulls tankage, and I might have a superfecta. As long as one of my teams is decent, I can handle the retooling on the others. Oh and go ND!

Why are you confident Stan has a plan? We kept waiting for free agency and it resulted in Manning, Kunitz, and Ward. Acquiring cap space by trading Hossa has not been used to improve the team. He has been awful with contracts for his entire tenure. His trades have been poor. I have no confidence that Stan is smart or has a plan. I supported Stan for too long before I looked at his entire body of work which is not good.

Looking forward tonight to seeing if they're molding into shape or have just been lucky of late.

They're tired and a half step behind, but they're hanging tough through 2.

DAC trying to out "CH" CH.

Hell of a 3rd period. Nonstop action for both teams. Hawks got great goaltending from some undrafted kid, Delia.

I'm really glad I watched this one tonight. 3 straight wins.

3 straight wins while giving up 2 or fewer goals.

Hawks got completely outplayed and still managed to steal 2 points thanks to Delia.

They were on their heels for much of the game. But they did take pretty good care of the Puck.

Can't complain about a 35/36 night from Delia and a zero-point night for the Avs. Go Jets Go!

Not sure what that means.

Delia's game means I'll get snubbed on the waiver wire claims this week. Was hoping he wouldn't start till Sunday. Think I might go on Sunday night if the stars align properly.

Attending Sunday’s game as my brother has to work and had tickets. Hoping for 4 but what are the chances.

Was at the Panthers game. For all the talk of the death of the Hawks, the UC was still full against a no-name opponent while the Bears were playing an important game. Lots of kids, though.

Game kind of sucked, but the Hawks are what they are now.

Yeah..more than earlier in year when I went vs Rangers at least. Not a great game but I took a buddy to his first game ever so that was kind of cool.

Barratt, Boqvist, Mitchell, and Kurashev all had good nights for the countries at the World Junior Championship tournament. Barratt is leading the NCAA in points and was named the player of the game. The Hawks have acquired a nice group of prospects.

I like to think that with each Kane Goal, Fels and McClure die a little inside.

I found a $1 bill on the ground the other day. The e-book is $5, but $1 is just enough of a subsidy for me to get his book and review it.
