Golden State's bench is weaker this year and they have no rim protection. They have always had a guy on the back line that could rim protect. Whether it was Bogut or McGee there was rim protection. Its a layup line with them this year.
Klay Thompson has always been the key to their team IMO. He has been woefully inconsistent this year. They don't win this year unless he gets it going. The Lakers trapped Durant and Curry and didn't even bother with Draymond Green. They might as well been in San Jose (did someone bother to state that its still the same market?) as far as he was concerned.
Teams in the West have more than a punchers chance and so do the teams in the East.
I will go with Golden St until someone proves otherwise. Just like the smart play was to go with Lebron in the East until proven otherwise.
Yeah they are still the Favs but this might be their toughest postseason to date. The year with OKC and Cleveland obviously tested them but this one might exceed that. There are some teams that can get up with them and they may be tired after making a 5th straight run at it.
Boogie may be the x factor but i don't expect him to be anywhere near the same player this season coming off injury.
