I keep seeing how good it is. Was going to give it a try later tonight

It keeps popping up every time I open Netflix and that damn preview starts playing automatically. Annoying - glad to know its passable.

I enjoyed it. Took me a couple episodes to get past the "Jim from the Office" vibe. Bosch is excellent if you haven't watched it yet.

Just finished seasons 1 and 2 of 'Ozark'.

Amazing show. Wow. Jason Batemen is a fucking genius.

Also, For some odd reason Laura Linney now gives me a throbbing boner. And I bet this show has caused at least a 25% uptick in the tourist industry in the Ozarks (we are already planning a trip there just because of the show - even though most of the show is filmed in Georgia).

I'm trying to watch this Jason Momoa show 'Frontier', but the cinematography is so bad I keep falling out of belief that it is taking place in the 1700s.

Poor, poor, cheap feel to it.

I tried to watch Ep 1, but I just couldn't get over what I like to call John Krasinski's "nice guy nose". He just has that soft, enlarging nose that precludes me from thinking of him as a tough guy or someone to take serious.

He just looks like a sitcom guy who makes snarky comments in the corner of an office.

And that is exactly what makes him a great Jack Ryan. I assume you've never read the Tom Clancy books?

Jack Ryan was / is a stockbroker, analyst and professor after a brief life as a naval officer in the Marines. He isn't the traditional action hero. That is Ding Chavez and John Clark's role in the books. I haven't seen the TV series yet but I have it queued in my Prime.

While convalescing, I caught all the way up on Ray Donovan. Seeing a lot of pretty high quality shows getting dumped after 2 or 3 seasons, old Ray has pushed it to 6 going on 7. Nothing really changes on this show besides the celebrity guest stars and the chicks Ray fucks.

He lost me somewhere in Season 3.

I was a HUGE fan the first 2 seasons, then it meh'd out for me.

Same thing happened with the show 'Tyrant' midway through season 2.

The series is worth viewing. It sounds like season 2 is going to incorporate some ideas from "Clear and Present Danger" as it is being filmed in Colombia. Heck, the relaunching of the Cold War is going to be a boon for this show going forward. I would love for a season 3 to be based upon "The Cardinal of the Kremlin." as that is the Clancy book I most wanted to see adapted.

Been watching Bodyguard about a British war vet turned cop guarding questionable politician. Not bad after 2 episodes but you sometimes have to try harder with the accent. Interesting to see common topics in a different government. I am disappointed already to learn they can't get another season until 2020 at best.

I always wanted Without Remorse made into a movie. Looks like it is finally happening. Seemed like an easy one to do too.

I hear it's really good. Rob Stark is the lead.

Gonna check it out soon.

Not a Netflix show, but hearing really good things about limited 3 part BBC mini-series, "A Very English Scandal". getting great reviews. It's available on Amazon Prime.

I semi-watched the first episode with my wife last night and I saw enough man on man semi-opened mouth kissing that I really didn't want to watch much
more of it, even if the story was sort of interesting. I think I am going to tell my wife to watch on without me. Hugh Grant has really gotten old.

You better avoid Versailles too...although your wife might like it.

I like it after 3 episodes and will easily finish the six episode season, but it’s aleeady starting to get a little ridiculous. I have a pretty low threshold for realism in action movies, but even given that, they need to figure out another way to make episodes interesting then by having people try kill or blow up the lady politician every episode.

Rob Stark is outstanding in the lead role though.

Well, my concerns with the show went away. Next two episodes were strong, hard to really say much without spoilers.

Got the season finale left tonight and should be good. Highly recommend the show.

Currently watching Trigger Warning with Killer Mike. The first hour is him searching for weed harvested by a black guy. Its still better than Bird Box.
