No doubt about it. You would think the Vikings would know this. They blamed it all on the Redskins.

Some of us have family responsibilities. I've never shied away from NFL being my 4th sport. It wasn't a tough call. DVR technology is wonderful.

If it was one of your top 2 sports you would have known Cousins is fools gold.

Not a good second half of the year. There are still reasons to be hopeful he can turn it around with an improved OL.

He's a type A and his preparation is insane. He also has natural gifts.
On paper that makes him very appealing. At some point it all breaks down though. Don't know if it's past failure or just something that makes him lock up.

Sounds like many of us Bear fans with Cutler. You know how that turned out. Good luck with your hopefulness

Good comparison but Cousins looks and acts like he actually gives a shit.

IMU seems to have been sufficiently humbled. Hubris was his downfall but I don't think we should judge him forever. He is still a relatively young Vikings fan who hasn't been jaded by 30+ years of failure.

He was the single most hurried QB in the league.

I know ALL of the stats about his record versus winning teams. Each broadcast discusses it, and Week 17 is the only Vikings game I missed watching live this season, for all the cries about my terrible fandom. So I've heard the narrative early and often.

But I still have seen what I've seen from Cousins and interpret him to be a good QB. Yes, probably not a great QB. But good enough to perform better with more time than throwing the slant route or a checkdown after his 0.5 seconds of protection elapses.

He looked liked the anxious kid from Parenthood on the field yesterday.

I might be reading it wrong but it looked like his receivers were putting the blame on him.

I agree with IMU to an extent. His line was bad and he can be a pretty good QB under perfect conditions (again, like Cutler)
