As someone who doesn't really care about either this is obvious.

Why won’t the NBA stage a Winter Classic at Notre Dame on New Years?

The NBA has nothing as cool as this.

This guy gets it. Jesus, I have been agreeing with Frank a lot. Is 2019 the last year of this planet?

Im not a fan of either, but there's way more team loyalty in hockey. In basketball, only 1 or 2 teams have a shot, so people just kind of sit around debating who the best players are and talking about future free agency periods.

Yup. There are literally 15-18 teams that could win the Stanley Cup this year.

i've said this before....the NBA is an awful league, but that's just my opinion. The Bernsteins of the world feel it's the best league because it's a league of Stars. It is...but IMO it makes it way too predictable. BORING.

It's more like nine or ten. If you think the Dallas Stars can win the Stanley Cup, cool, you think more of them than their CEO does, who called them horseshit.

I've always thought that basketball and hockey played at their highest level are the two most exciting sports there are. I prefer hockey but I definitely won't argue with someone who likes basketball more.

I do agree this was an embarrassment for the league.

When half the league makes the playoffs, things like that are going to happen from time to time.

Not sure if you trying to be sarcastic but both leagues have 16 playoff teams while the NHL has 31 teams and the NBA has 30. Just saying....
