The Astros signed Michael Brantley to a 2yr/$32M deal.

Damn. I hate when teams I can’t stand sign players I like.

The luxury tax was basically a salary cap..not sure why the MLBPA would ever agree to such a thing.

Angels sign Matt Harvey to a 1yr/$11M deal.

Getting out of Great American ballpark should help but going to the AL won’t. Call it a wash. Meh

The Angels signed RHP Trevor Cahill to a 1yr/$9M deal.

So they're going with the band aid approach. That usually doesn't work out well.

Sounds like Daniel Murphy is going to the Rockies.. I didn't want him back. That's good for the Cubs

They should trade Trout and Ohtani and rebuild their whole team over night.

Why does it make any sense for Cincy to trade for Kluber? And how good are the guys they are offering?

It doesn’t make sense. Senzel, Trammell and India can all rake. No way I’d break them up.

The Twins signed DH Nelson Cruz to a 1yr/$14.3M deal. The deal includes a $12M team option year.

Good signing for the Twinkies. Between Cruz, Cron and Sano they have some serious right handed thump.

Harper is going to be the new Heyward contract for someone.

I understand the risk but before now I haven’t felt many thought Harper would bust out.

No player older than 32 has signed a deal with more than two years fully guaranteed.

The next work stoppage will be interesting. Maybe years of control will change.

The Mariners signed LHP Yusei Kikuchi to a 3 yr deal with a player option for a 4th year.

You would think someone would have diagnosed Jerry Dipoto with short term memory loss by now. This deal makes absolutely no sense.

The Phillies signed RHP David Robertson to a 2yr/$23M deal.

Yikes. I sure hope they don't expect him to close.

Zach Britton signed a 3yr/$39M deal with the Yankees

It’a another Boras “swellopt”. I wonder if this is what’s holding up Harper and Machado from signing.

The Brewers signed C Yasmani Grandal to a 1yr deal.

This dumbass turned down a 4yr deal with the Mets and a QO from the Dodgers.
