There were several plays aside from the double doink that helped/hurt both sides that could be considered luck. For example, the Bears first field goal was pure luck--they would have been punting, except Bennett decided to commit a personal foul against Long that had nothing to do with the play.

Coach going for a 2 point conversion instead of 1 might have cost the Bears the game. Not sure though with Pa-Doink-a-doink Parkey kicking it though!

The sad part of all this is how all the good feeling and respect the Bears earned is wiped out by one goofy play. Everybody not a Bears fan had a good laugh yesterday.

Terrible thought. Then the eagles would have just kicked extra point and still had 1 pt lead. Going for 2 to get a 7 pt lead was the absolute right move
