The MCCANN!!! deal is done. Turns out he had a fairly serious off the field issue last year that contributed to his down season. They think he’ll get back to his ‘17 form which would be fine. He’s just a place holder until Collins is ready. Still can’t figure out why they released Smith but this makes me feel a little better.

I am gonna guess, one of those catchers is gonna be up pretty quick around June/July.

So glad the Sox traded John Stearns so they could play Joel Skinner instead.

They signed RHP Kelvin Herrera to a 2yr/$18M deal with an option for a 3rd year.

I like it. The bullpen is shaping up nicely.

Lot of miles on that arm but worth the shot at $9 per

A nice DH/ 1B, decent #5 starter, and significantly upgraded Bullpen. Just missing 1 more piece this offseason.

A 5th OF’er? I’m told they’re working on that.

I'd like to know who their 3 starting outfielders will be.

It's hard to keep my meatheadedness at bay with the White Sox, but goddamn is this front office is gonna look like clowns if they don't get this done. You could go back to Ricky and Wellington being early moves made to sway Machado to signing here

For real. This has all the makings of the Sox looking fucking ridiculous and this being a joke for years to come.

Was Southpaw waiting at the airport to welcome Manny?

This just may have blown any chance of signing Machado. Twitter is going nuts mocking the White Sox. "White Sox hired Manny's mom as lunch lady. Cousins to throw t shirts, etc

When I first saw this I thought it said Muslim Brotherhood, and then I wanted the White Sox to hire Mohammed Badie as hitting coach.

isloated without context, signing 34 year old john jay is a perfect kenny williams signing... perhaps even more appropriate would have been trading for him mid season.

Machado should see how far they'll go.

Demand they name the stadium after him. Tell Jerry he'll only sign if Paxson and Foreman are fired from the Bulls.

Surprised no one mentioned Eloy being shut down with a quad in December to get ready for spring training. Precautionary is the word, but the vibe was Eddie Jackson was resting his sprain for the playoffs.

Levine was talking about this last Saturday.

Said Eloy has a "soft" body and this might be an issue moving forward. Sox have someone working with him in training and diet.
