I was recently rather disrespectful of my only formalwear, and need to find a haberdasher to fix or replace my garment, as a modern replacement would be at or near $5000. Any recommendations? Also, I'm a proud socialist, so the more expensive and privatized the better. Thanks in advance.

No. Not taking twenty seconds to look at Yelp or Google was dumb.

You can start that Shoutout thread any time.

Did you even look at those wildly inaccurate results?

You are not and will never be as smart as you think you are, Frank. Stop it already. You couldn't even match bigfan's wit. Why are you trying to bring it with anyone else? It is sad. Just accept who you are. Everyone does it eventually.

Nonsense. Waveland Bowl is definitely going to be able to fix your cue stick. Thank Frank later

Don't knock KV Hotshots at #5. They'd probably be impressed with how many teeth you have just by walking in the door.

The second one on the list is the place that Telegram Sam suggested.

Here you go IMU; posting.php?mode=post&f=100

You don't think it's fair to poke fun at someone who gives you a list that includes a generic bowling alley? Come on man, that's just funny right there.

IMU would have just as much luck finding somebody to fix his $1000 stick at a bowling alley as he would here.

Waveland Bowl isn't a generic bowling alley, though. They might have a legit pool cue repair shop there.

What? If there's anything a group of largely liberal nerds on the internet loosely connected by a fondness for sports radio knows a whole bunch about, it's woodworking.

We have farmers here, dumbass. You're going to declare that everyone here must be from a hyperspecific industry background?

If there was one guy on the board I would predict to have a side gig of hustling marks at the local pool hall it would have been IMU or chas.

In fact Minnesota Fats ran a billiards hustle out of a converted grain silo, didn't he?

I don't know why my brain made this connection automatically, but I read that in JK Simmons' voice and it made it even more funny.
