I never figured IMU for a pool player, least of all one with a $1000 cue. He's like Tom Cruise with his Balabushka!

Some guys I used to hang out with at the racetrack owned a pool hall back in the day.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbIgMzAXaU0

The last guy interviewed is Sonny G. I still see him out at the Saddle Room in Hoffman Estates once in awhile. I think he also sings at Chambers Restaurant on Milwaukee Avenue sometimes. He does a killer version of "Girl From Ipanema". First we see Sonny sing, then we sing.

Sam Fels's dad wrote an article about the pool hall:

I doubt it. They closed about 3 years ago. It's a showroom for a home remodeling company now.

Big Al Lerner ! That was a cool story. Loved the old guy just sitting at the bar, smoking and watching.

So what family was Sonny a part of?

Very sad. I drive by there all the time and I never noticed. Not really a place I frequented. My cousin who is a few years older than I am went in there with my mom. My mother was probably about 75 at the time. My cousin said, "I was the youngest person in there." Then she said, "You know who was the second youngest? Your mom."

Anyhow, if you really want to hear Sonny sing, his album is called Ballads and Bossas.

They did a brisk funeral luncheon business, as you would imagine from the location. And the clientele.

My aunt is married to a former detective who plays pool against other people on some type of live stream for thousands of dollars. That's insane to me.

I’m willing to show you. You just need money to learn. I’m new here, do you have that?

#TeamVapePen missed you at RTS.

Didn’t seem like an appropriate occasion for #TeamCocaine.

We had a pool table when I was a teenager.

We did bongs and used my aunt's wheelchair for another skill element to throw in the game. We called it Ironside Pool.

I just couldn't make RTS. Look, I work in the cultural wasteland of Schaumburg. That drive is soul-crushing on a Sunday.

Are there any able-bodied tax attorneys on the board who could help me find a suitable deduction for my inherited $1000 pool cue?

Kind of a stretch fellas. We will know when imu is being a braggart. Not sure a hand me down cue, a nice one, from 20 years ago qualifies.

Are we all gonna just pretend we’re all poor as fuck?

I have a hand-me-down 1978 Willie Mosconi Limited Edition red-felt pool table. Willie capitalizing on those Minnesota Fats vs. Willie Mosconi Wide World of Sports features.

And I'm rich, bitch. (I've been watching a lot of Chappelle Show lately).

My billiards cue has developed an abnormality that requires immediate rectfication from a qualified guild which does not exist, please create such an individual directly.

Yeah this wasn't bragging. This was a guy trying to fix something that was given to him and means a lot to him. CFMB routinely thinks the worst of MANY.

Ok that’s solid. But I’m a sucker for MJH humor.
