Take to a local stair company that turns their own spindles. They can turn the end and you can put on a longer ferrule.

The ferrule is broken. You cannot properly attach a new ferrule without shop lathe and woodworking experience.

Posting this on CFMB was dumb. Nevermind.

Replace it with a genuine Ivory Ferrule if it is a high-end cue (and you must also be moving to Florida).
