We got a purple mattress.
It is pretty good, I'm a light sleeper and my wife can move around and I don't feel it. She says that since we got it her shoulder/neck pain has disappeared.

Do you notice that it sleeps cool or have you and your wife never had an issue with that?

Yes, we got a new one maybe just under a year ago. I think it was called Dreamfoam. I wasn't really in charge of the process that went into buying
it and whatever but overall we have been thrilled with it. I actually sleep like shit on everything else but our own bed. Ours is pretty firm which we
both like. Other than a bit of an off putting smell for a day or two once it comes out of the packaging it has been a great purchase. Not sure how it
stacks up price wise against others either. I'd say give it a look.

Have a Nectar king size. I enjoy the mattress as it's pretty firm.

Though, I'm a heavy sleeper so I have very few sleep issues and can sleep on and through a lot.

Ya, our Nectar mattress had that industrial chemical smell for a few days. Like yourself I love sleeping on our out-of-the-box mattress.

Did it smell like the East River?

Got 2 Casper mattresses. The newer one seems firmer than the older one even though they are the same make. Ill chalk that up to sleeping on the older one for the past 2 years.

We have a casper. It's good Kinda hot though. We'll probably go with a tomorrow mattress next for the guest room. They are cheaper. I'd love to try an avocado.

In the summer, we use bamboo sheets and it does stay cool, which is good. In the winter we have flannel sheets and it stays warm.

Ok, two things learned today. An APA study on masculinity makes many hyperbolic, and frightened. And there are things called bamboo sheets. Interesting.

I have a secondary sheet set that is Bamboo. They are excellent. My main set is Sheex though, which I like even more for its ability to keep me cool.

Also, I did end up pulling the trigger on a Purple.

If you could share with me the secret to un-seeing this, I would gladly lay off.

Zinus Green Tea

Purchased one a couple years ago and love it. It sleeps cool and hasn't lost its shape yet. If you don't like the stuck feeling, then go with a 8" or 10" and not 12". I have the 12" and I have never felt stuck, but everyone is different.

Did a lot of reviews and the Zinus Green Tea was better then anything you get from the brand named stores. For under 300.00 you can't beat the price.

We got a Casper. My wife loves it. For me it is fine but I don't really notice the mattress I am sleeping on unless it is awful. I still sleep on our 18-year old mattress periodically that is now in our basement and I don't really see a major difference.

The Purple arrived today but my GF can't get it up the stairs. I'll unbox and test it out when I get home. It's not supposed to have any off-gassing period. Should be able to use it tonight.

You usually have to wait a day or two for the mattress to take form outside of the box.

Not for the Purple, since it isn't memory foam.

I have it all set up and ready to go. Probably went from 0 to 100 in less than a minute.

I ordered a pocket coil beauty sleep matress from usmatress.com. was cheap ($550 Cal king) and it came on a truck and they brought it in and up the stairs no issues.

It's totally awesome. Had it a year now and it's just getting broken in. We always notice after laying on the couch and chairs all day... Get all fucked up and shit and then go to the bedroom... Poof, as soon as you lay down there's a rush of "whooaah". It's pure heaven. I don't understand why the foam mattresses cost so much. It's just foam. I think it's a fad but who knows
