The term is defined in the article, although the definition itself is obviously debatable.

His completion percentage is pretty bad...relative to the league. He's 28th on the list...I guess that would be an indication that either receivers are dropping balls or he's throwing passes away.

He's throwing away about twice as many passes as any other team/QB in the NFL

non-packers fans are finally catching onto this habit. MANY fans have seen this happening on a weekly basis.

however, the author of the article is pretty dumb. NFL contracts are year-to-year.

I noticed that he wasn't a risk taker before this year. Because he's having a down year I finally realized that it was about stats and not about winning.

I don't want a risk taker. I just want receivers to get open and for him to hit them in stride. A combination of a limited receiving core, inconsistent line play and Rodgers holding the ball too long has led to the throwaways. That can be fixed. I'm more bothered by his missed throws.

it's been a developing habit as the receiving talent has begun to erode. though his deep ball has been bad for a few years now (excluding hailmary throws)

When you have an arm like that you have to take some chances when you're losing.

You just moved the goal posts. The complaints don't stem from comeback attempts. He certainly goes for it when necessary.

The Pat Fitzgerald rumors seem to be gaining traction. I heard Florio discussing it this morning and it wasn't dismissed out of hand.

I would love that move. However, the one thing I think Fitzgerald does well as a head coach is hire great assistants and let them do their job. He has always been more of a personnel manager and organizational motivator. Maybe he would hire great underlings and just get out of the way.

I didn't move the goalposts and it isn't just 1 part of the game. Everyone else except for you sees the same thing. At this point he's clinging to the title of best QB in the NFC North. He's no longer a top 3 QB in the NFL. Next year it's possible that he loses his North title and falls out of the top 10.

They can't interview currently employed coaches at the moment so the pool isn't exactly overflowing right now...

Any interview Caldwell gets can at least be justified by the Rooney Rule. But there's no justification for the Packers also interviewing Pagano.

Nah. We’ll take Vic from you this summer and win the SB next year.

Caldwell had a winning record with the Lions. The Lions. It’s not exciting, but it’s not crazy.

This is really starting to look like the beginning of the end for Rogers.

Vegan and Nas, I know you keep trying to goof on the Packers but don't quite know how. I'll help. Here's a Packer reporter isolating a single play by Jacksonville and acting like the OC is good because of it

It's a play-action pass to a fullback.

Right. It’s amusing to me that Packers Twitter keeps taking isolated plays like this and from TN that aren’t even really that impressive and acting like we got geniuses because of it.

It doesn't take much to impress those rubes up in Wisconsin, FF. You know that. They could tweet out a video of an electric can opener, and people up there-- along with Caller Bob-- would go nuts.

I'm pretty sure Ron Turner used to run that play....frequently.
