I have really had enough of my cell phone going off constantly for unknown callers, junk telemarketers, scammers and all that. The do not call list is a joke with technology making robocalls and faking numbers possible. I am certain carriers could curb this but are waiting charge for it. Same with Apple and Samsung.

We get screwed over again. My favorite is the call from my own number one digit off.

Last week was a great week. I may have gotten 5 call all week. I answered a call on Sunday this week and I think that I've gotten 5 calls a day

Oh, sure, you mite get FF or FRANK to call, but as i said, WORTH WHILE!

If I receive a call from a number I don't recognize, I don't answer and see if they leave a voicemail. If they don't, I consider them a telemarketer and block the number. Cut those type of calls by 2/3 per week.

I've had good luck with "call blocker" by Vlad Lee in the Android Google play store.

It's free. You can block private and unknown calls. Accept only contact calls. Blacklist callers. Blocked calls go to voicemail like most blockers. But with this app blocked calls dont ring like other blockers I've tried. Contacts or whitelisted callers ring as usual

I do this 99% of the time. I answered one yesterday because I am looking for a quote on a project at my house and it was a local number. Ended up being
a real person looking for money for a charity organization. I'll go back to letting people leave a message.

I still get caught on certain days as we have trucks delivering distillers or seed or whatever and I have to answer those to give directions. Or at least I feel I have to even though letting it go to voice mail wouldn’t kill me. I do know if the number starts like my cell phone I’m not answer it. I get 2-3 of those a day.
