Last year I discovered the ignore feature. I've had LTG on ignore for over a year now. That's it though. It's blissful not having to look at that shitbag's posts.


Anyone else use the ignore feature and who's the asshole you use it on?

No one. I tried to ignore 3 people in the past but I ended up clicking on their posts which made the ignore feature meaningless.

Never used it on anybody that I can remember.

If there was a way to block specific interactions I would probably put any JLN/LTG interaction on my foe list but even those don't seem as bad these days.

the function of it is counterproductive. the way it should work is that you never see the person's posts, like they don't exist.

with that thing, it tells you that this person has posted. it completely baits you. "Hey you know how you ignore this person? Well they posted. But you can't see it because they're on ignore! Unless you want to see it, then you can."

That's why you have to use it judiciously. The guy I have on my Foe List has NEVER made one post that I thought I needed to read. And that's over about a ten year period. So I'm not even tempted to click and I'm somewhat annoyed when someone quotes him. I honestly think he's the only guy I would say that about.
