Bruce was doing an awful lot of backpedaling and damage control yesterday on Mac/Parkins. He's trying to stand by his reporting and started getting into complexity of contracts and financials.....he sounded way out of his league....big shock.

i noticed on twitter they all love to make sure to shout out whoever got news first.... NFL guys don;'t do that unless its a shout out to a coworker

Larry last night was complaining that baseball reportering on FA is currently bad

Yeah it's awful. I'm not sure they realize how bad they are coming off collectively.

Agree completely. Bruce is completely unprepared for any question that challenges the narrative. You would think that after all these years he would at least anticipate the questions and be prepared to offer an intelligent argument.

The problem is partly that there aren't many real reporters anymore. You have guys hanging around teams just taking the narrative like Levine. But most are just Twitter workers working the same rumor mills anyone else with a lot of extra time could do. I guess they should get a shoutout for making money doing very little.
