carlin is great don't get me wrong, but his schtick of berating social norms get a tad old at times. one trick pony. meanwhile pryor can be funny about everything. he's the GOAT.

I saw an interesting Louis CK take about that.

They said after Pryor burned himself he was smart enough to know he had to make HIMSELF the subject/butt of his jokes at least at the start.

Maybe Louis should have. I dont know.
