I mostly agree, JLN. America was different, though, as the Wisemen explained. He had been warned and given almost as many chances as Steve Howe. Plus, he can come back in mult (or pog) form.

I am with FF and FrankDrebin and everyone else who says this if The Hawk is lying, this is a special kind of assholery. Like ninth-circle kind. Seriously, is nothing sacred?

On the other hand, I have seen FF use the "nothing is sacred" defense when he comes out firing on other people's closely-held beliefs. Of course, FF would argue that he doesn't claim to be something he is not like The Hawk supposedly is doing, and, apart from the "I'm not on left/right and so am objective and therefore I must be right" bullshit he spews, that's a good argument.

Still, just because this bothers him and FrankDrebin (and me and Toxic and so on) doesn't mean that The Hawk should be banned for it. No way, man. Deal with it the way you are dealing with it: by making The Hawk look like an idiot. If people find it persuasive, they'll agree. (Yet if people unthinkingly jump on the anti-Hawk bandwagon, then they're dumb idiots who are dumb. There's enough social censorship here as it is.)

Banning people can get shitty fast, and if Nas didn't ban people who rip on him the way they do, we shouldn't ask anyone to be banned, either. And if The Hawkeroo is lying, what a piece of etc. he is. As FrankDrebin said, all of you who served have balls. Thank you for your service, seriously.
