Wife and I saw Tedeschi Trucks band last night at Chicago Theater. We'll be going again next year for sure. Amazing show and I only know one song.

We went to a place called Broken English Taco Pub on Lake. Had a fried chicken taco that was amazeballs. The carne asada was quite good. I didn't care for the barbacoa but the wife liked it. fun place. good vibes.

The new house is taking shape. We've been making it ours slowly. Still need to hang a bunch of my Mom's paintings, but it's coming along. I am putting my studio together. That's been the last thing on my list. I have the amps in the room and will be hanging guitars soon. I still haven't set up my desktop with the recording software and we've been here for 7 months. I need to get on that.

We're planning on getting another Lab soon. It will be from Lily's brothers brood (from the litter after her). We are getting a male, so she'll have her nephew. Looking forward to that.

I wanted to go that show too and had to cut it for budgetary reasons. Will be going next year if they come back. Had a couple other friends who went who echoed your thoughts. They’re a staple on my large ass Spotify daily mix.

AJ is getting baptized on Sunday, so we're really looking forward to a great family celebration. Since the holidays, it's been Dad duty and working a shit job. Fairly benign actually.

Funny story. After dinner out last night me and wife stop at Petland. Just for giggles. Guy is forward and sees us looking a lot at a puppy. Brings it out and we play etc. So I say give me a number. He says 3 years of this and that and we finance and so on. And this Italian Carpo Mastiff can be yours for $6,200. I literally laughed and asked him to repeat himself three times.

Broken English Taco....nice enough, a bit over priced, however my wife and I went there before a show at Chicago Theatre (Todd R.) and barely got served within 90 minutes of walking in

I saw TTB a couple of months ago here in Columbus. Good show, but I don’t think they really need a 30-minute intermission after the first 45-minute set.
