Again you're being disingenuous, the point is that lying about military service is a lie, not a separate and distinct offense. Nothing was said about it being the same degree of a lie as something innocuous.

So, when I say that you want someone banned for lying on a message board, I am correct.

Isn't that why all of the bannings have occurred? It's all some form of lying, jest, or dishonesty.

No, it is not. It is a lie, one you find incredibly offensive, but it is a lie. You want someone banned for lying.

Obviously, lying about military service or decorations on a message board is not an offense unless you are seeking donations of a financial or material kind.

I think you are right about that. I don't think it means he needs to be banned, but, yeah, you are right about that.

Yeah stolen valor is worse than just a lie. But so many now are generally disrespectful to soldiers and patriotism I expect it.

Just because you feel like lying about military service is so especially awful that it should be viewed as something else entirely, doesn't change the fact that it is a lie. And wanting someone banned for perhaps lying about military service is to want someone banned for lying.

Now before I say something I am just trying to help.

What FF is doing is basically a coin challenge. If you are true military Hawk long up your coin. On the other hand,FFafte he okayed it i think you added more stipulations on? If so you can't keep moving the goal posts man. If Hawks is really who he says ,not just FF but a lot of you guys need not only apologize but donate to a veterans organization.

That was my take. For it to be stolen valor there has to be an attempt at some gain. If The Hawk were lying- and I don't believe he is- I don't believe it constitutes stolen valor.
