Great makeup job on the old man though.

It is a lot, moving through 3 damn timelines.

They should have kept it to two. It is highly distracting when you have to pause and re-wind.

Also, seems like the initial investigation was pretty shoddy. How could these 2 supersleuths miss so much?

Also, why did they never think to fingerprint those little passed notes?

I watched S1 based on board input. I didn’t watch S2 based on board input. Where we at for S3? Am I watching or nah?

You are. I think we all agree it's solid, just sorta waiting for the other shoe to drop when we find out the murderer is a random teenager we saw for 20 seconds in episode 2.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to tell the difference from different timelines.

You'll be waiting a long time for that, it's much more likely a black guy with a scar on his face and purple Hayes ol' lady.

The crazy injun picking up that bag of (what) ? Makes no sense, nobody picks up a bag like that..no matter what's inside.

Yeah, Sitting Bull is definitely up to some shady shit, but I don't think he had anything to do with the killing the kid.

I don't think you need to post spoiler alerts two days after an episode aired. This is a thread for people watching the show. If someone gets mad at spoilers after clicking on it, they probably struggle to breathe and tie their own shoes so it might not be worth caring what they say anyway.

And no, she didn't.

I wouldn't say that, they never said cause of death for boy as far as I know.

There's no alerts to spoil. The show is enjoying not giving out information, including who was convicted.

Blunt force trauma was stated as cause of death.

This. Season 1 had 3 timelines too. Go watch big bang theory if S3 confuses you.

That could have been from a fall. Playing on the rocks.

ok, they found the family album and with the boys arms folded which was the exact way they found him when he was dead. That indicates the sister(still alive) or someone in the family was involved? Right?

Someone most likely had to see that pic, or had to be involved with the kid’s communion to purposefully leave him posed like that after the murder.

I’m still thinking the cousin, and/or the potential “real” father had something to do with the murder/abduction.

Exactly, his death could have been accidental. There's only 2 realistically people who are driving a nice brown car( everybody else is driving shit boxes)

A rich fuck from California ( Hayes wife fled Cali)
Chicken place upper management-owner or his wife.

The more I think about it, the more I expect we'll see a black guy with a scar on his face working for the chicken joint. The white woman is probably the owners wife who bosses around said black man.

It just seems off how hard Hayes old lady was sweating him to leave the Walgreens stakeout and hit the hotel. She's involved with something.

Rewatch the bus scene. The brown Mercedes is parked on the street. Definitely not normal in that neighborhood.

Also I dont think Hayes' wife is involved but if you think about it she could pass for light skinned aka the white woman seen outside the farm.

Well shit...

They showed a brown car when they showed Amelia’s white boyfriend picking her up in I think episode 2.

There it is.

What befuddles me is that they find that the dude who was renting out the room had a fucking peephole to creep in on the kids, but why isn't this fucking sick fuck locked away in an interrogation room under a hot lamp getting his fucking brains smashed in with phonebooks?

I bet he is the guy they pin it on and then have to let go. Only reason I can see why they are totally ignoring him.

I think this last episode drug on a little bit but I like all the tension they are building up and I am not trying to nitpick it to death and just enjoy
the ride they are taking me on. They haven't given out a ton of clues yet and hasn't reached the fever pitch that it was in Season 1. I don't really
expect it to but so far they have done great. No confusion in the time jumping and the makeup on old ass Hays is really good.

It's subjective on how long you want to be strung along. I've invested 3 hours and I have yet to find out who was convicted? We found out early this case has been a nightmare for Hays. Now he's having trouble remembering details of the nightmare. Call me crazy but that's making the storyline go backwards, not forward.

Episode 3, the story lost ground and Roland has a new haircut.

If we find out who was convicted, wouldn't that make the early storyline completely pointless?

I tend to agree, they are building up to it and obviously it will come out. Next weeks episode looks good and will reveal a few more suspects.
