There are a number of people that post here who really appear to be lacking in it.

If there is no instrinsic value to owning a message board then what in the hell makes you think that there is value to posting on it. At times it can be a decent place to pass the time. Thats about it.

I'm sorry you have that mindset. Maybe if you were actually a decent human being, you would realize that there is FAR more to this message board than just being a place argue with the world and pass the time.

The following things have all happened between board members only because of this board;

-Weddings have been attended
-Golf outings and general weekend tee times have happened
-Vacations have been taken
-Concerts featuring board members have been attended
-Open Mic and shows set up and and ran by board members have been attended (some of these have happened at a place owned by a board member!)
-Concerts for pure entertainment have been attended
-Serious and heartfelt conversations and email exchanges pertaining to lost loved ones and pets have taken place
-Groups have gathered to watch Bears/NFL games
-Sox, Cubs, Bulls, and Hawks games have been attended
-Bears & Northwestern tailgates have been attended
-Video game/Clash of Clans teams (or whatever you nerds call them) have been formed
-Child rearing advice has been solicited and received
-Grilling and cooking recipes have been solicited and received
-Beer, liquor, travel, and restaurant recommendations have been solicited and received
-MANY beers, meals, and cigars, have been shared among friends and board members
...and I'm sure I'm probably forgetting something

There clearly is somebody who has posted on this thread who is sorely lacking some perspective on this place, and its not vegan, RFDC, Brick, or I.

If all of these great things are happening with such wonderful guys like you leading the charge then why have so many people disappeared from here over the years?

In addition all of the things you listed are by products of the site. They aren't intrinsic to it.

Don't move the goalposts again. You started a thread about lacking perspective, and I put you right in your place.

Honestly, if you simply were a better human being you would enjoy this place far more than you do now. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

What do you actually know about me as a human being?

You can't even ever address an actual point without personalizing it. You do it with every single person that disagrees with you. Its why most simply avoid you if they happen to disagree. I'm not embelllishing either.

I know enough to realize that if you act like this in real life, you're probably very lonely LTG

I'm not going to clutter up the board all day replying to your mindless drivel. Unlike you, I'll say that I am done replying to you in this thread and I will actually mean it. Hopefully you get some perspective in your own right. You need it.

Have a good day.

Be better than this.

In recent weeks, Spaulding posted about having to deal with a bully, and Tbone posted about possibly coaching basketball. Sure there were jokes and memes posted, but there was also some really good ideas given to them. When I said 'child rearing', I was speaking more in general terms of people talking about their children and their lives here, and asking for and receiving advice.

The guy that helped run the place left because he tired of dealing with all the whiners and complainers. People should think about that for a second. People have left in droves. Hopefully its a wake up call for the anointed caretakers as it is they that do all of the damn complaining.

People that possess the sort pf biases that you have are truly the miserable ones. Too bad that you aren't introspective enough to realize it. You comment about things i post. Unless i respond to them I ignore you otherwise. You are inconsequential as far as I'm concerned. A nothing. A nobody.

There is nothing you can say or do that will impact my life. I have a wonderful life filled with bliss. As such i don't use this place or need this site for anything but talking stuff from time to time.

There are people that post here that appear to have real problems. I'm not one of them. Physically, Mentally, and Psychologically I'm good. Thats why you clowns have been unable to break me in spite of trying over the past few years.

You get tied up in knots over me. I don't over you as I view you as joke that needs this place in order to feel "whole". I don't. I have a good to great life. I'm straight.

Sounds like he's trying to convince himself more than anything.

For all of its ebbs and flows, this place is still great and I enjoy it for the most part.

Yup. Ltg is working through his role in this.

Just keeping it 100. You have people on here that can't go a day without silly psychoanalysis. Its old. I'm good. I post here because i like posting here. There isn't some significant void that causes me to post here. If it gets to a point where i stop liking it i won't post. For some reason some guys don't get it. Won't be pushed.

You have guys constantly commenting about someone's psyche yet they are the ones pushing for people to get banned in order to have a "better" board experience. At some point its fair to ask if it is they that have the problem. This place will never be that important to me to where i advocate for anyone to be censored.

Are you still hawking essential oils on FB?

Crazy thing happened tonight. So I take a bath every night and my skin has been so dry. I decided to grab my orange essential oil that assured me it was great for dry skin and fine to put in the bath (with coconut oil). As I’m sitting there in my bubbles...the bottom of my legs start feeling like they are burning. A minute later it started feeling like I have chemical burns!!!! It hurt so bad that I stood up and turned the shower on to wash off my burning skin!!!!! I got out of the shower and my legs were purple and burning like craaaaazy!!!! Had a nice visit with the ER tonight and NO ONE knew what to say. Scary that no one knows how dangerous this can be! I have red burns on the back of my legs now! Doesn’t look like I’m alone either reading online. And yes it was the good stuff that was not cheap.
