My father, although his comment is usually along the lines of “Something to think about.” I get a lot of odd emails forwarded to me from him (nothing from conspiracy sights mind you) but Odd enough that I wonder what kind of mailing lists is he on. $75k will get you a decent sized kitchen filled with pretty good cabinetry. I can see hitting $200k without too much trouble.

I have a feeling that number may be slightly embellished. With fixtures and hardware and appliances, it'd be fairly easy to achieve that mark.

We put a $50k+ range in a kitchen once. That was their mid priced option. A couple of $20k farm sinks and you're well on your way.
