Yeah, I think the Naperville area is the cutoff for Ice/Rain, problem is the weather weenies didn't make that distinction and told everyone they were getting ice. Causing mass panic/school closings. These guys really suck.

Do you expect them to dial in the forecast to every 10-mile radius for the entire Chicago TV market?

It’s icy out. Thunder and lightning. Supposed to work cattle in morning, think I’ll delay till afternoon.

Sugar Grove deserves to be iced over in a cold winter hell for the next 20 years for that crown development abomination they are forcing through.

Its basically impossible to get that detailed because 1/2 a degree change in temperature is the difference between rain and ice, and 2" of snow vs 4" of snow. Kind of like how a thunderstorm can dump an inch of rain in 30 minutes in one town, and you drive two miles down the road and its barely drizzled. Clearly these concepts are far too advanced for you to understand.

The last report I saw last night said that the further east and south you are from I-55, the better the chances are for all rain and little or not ice. That nail seems to have been hit squarely on the head.

Looking forward to getting out there Saturday and cleaning up some dog crap -- hopefully it won't be all soaked if it is supposed to be windy on Friday.
