I think Eddie can pull off this movie. He hasn't been funny to adults since he ditched his R-rated act, but this film did not take him down that road.

It was already remade in like 2000 with Samuel L. as Shaft. This is a sequel to that.

It's just called "Shaft" again though, I think, not "Shaft 2" or anything.

Christian Bale was hilarious in the 2000 version. Basically played Donald Trump Jr.

Bale really goes for it. It's a pretty terrible movie, but his over the top performance is fun bad.
