Your first two sentences are factual.

The owner of the Chicago White Sox partnered with Sinclair media before the Cubs did.

/\ Also a factual statement. Im sorry you didnt research this. It's clear you didnt know and would have posted differently if you did.

You're reaching, a lot. Like Rick explained, it's a pretty ridiculous comparison.

I get it though. It's really all you guys have to work with.

No, its not. It's completely apt and you are being purposely dishonest, but I understand sticking up for your side.

It's actually comical that you guys are trying to make a distinction, where there clearly is none.

The whole issue here is that Sinclair is an evil Trump loving fake news organization that shouldnt be supported under any circumstances.

Jerry Reinsdorf, who owns the White Sox, is a partner of theirs and is helping them profit. There is no spinning that.

Sox fans did this to themselves with the fake over the top outrage.

It's OK, Sox fans. Let it out. This was probably a surprise to you.

I wish our owner wasn't involved with these guys either. But it is what it is.

We can all get through this.
I agree we can get through this together. How about we pledge to not watch a minute of these Sinclair invested sports networks? You in? I am.

Somehow, against the odds, Frank is even more wrong than we thought.

How many White Sox games will be on Sinclair invested networks?
How many Cubs games will be on Sinclair invested networks?

I actually don't care too much about the Sinclair stuff but I'm ready to boycott any game broadcast on any of them.

A for effort my friend but there’s a distinct difference between Jerry being coinvestors with them on something else and the Cubs having a direct broadcast partnership with them.

Im out. I have no issue at all with the Cubs partnership.

But I must point out that if you want to be sure none of your money ever ends up with Sinclair, you have to pretty much never spend a dime on the White Sox.

And who is feigning outrage? We are clearly just giving you guys shit for being broadcast partners with Nazis. No big deal.

No one has said White Sox games will be shown on them (Sinclair wants ratings) but Sinclair's presence is all over the Cell and the United Center.

Jerry makes money from the White Sox and invests it in his Stadium network project. Stadium makes money, Sinclair profits. Pretty simple.

This is a good example of how ridiculous it is to try and parse partnerships.

You're either with Sinclair or you're not. Both the Sox and Cubs are with them. Sox were first (credit where credit is due)

In what way? I guess I haven't paid enough attention to it to notice.

Those who attend a Sox game at Guaranteed Rate Field will find Stadium presenting baseball highlights on the video board in center field.

Also....

Jerry Reinsdorf has built a new Stadium in Chicago.

Its capacity is unknown, even to him.

“The potential is unlimited, I think,” said Reinsdorf, chairman of the Bulls and White Sox. “I don’t know how fast it will grow, but I really think we have a great group of partners and there’s so much synergy here.”

It's not ridiculous to parse direct partnerships. The Chicago Cubs will be playing baseball on a Sinclair owned network. If the Sox start playing on Stadium then it's the same thing.

Everyone here knows you and how you would be posting if the situation was reversed. Just admit defeat, Frank.

And btw, if we go down the rabbit hole of why its wrong for the Cubs to work with Sinclair, were just going to end up at a point where you wont be able to defend Jerry's association with them, so its really in your best interest to just stop posting about it.

Every time you attempt to rip the Cubs, you are also ripping Jerry, whether you acknowledge it or not.
I notice you did not say I was wrong.

I accept your apology.

The network, which shows live sporting events and studio programming both online and over the air through Sinclair's distribution network, leased a portion of the fifth floor at the 190,000-square-foot office and atrium complex that the arena opened last year. Stadium also has set up its studio in about 2,200 square feet on the ground floor of the fan-facing atrium.

That's where it's hoping the more than 2 million visitors to the United Center each year will take notice as the network vies for an audience in a highly competitive digital media landscape.

It sucks that your favorite team is involved but that's the way it is.

Explain how it enriches them that Jerry puts more money into Stadium. When you put more money into a business, you gain a larger share of the company otherwise you are just giving away part of it.

Showing something on the screen? So now we are at the point where advertisers are the same thing as what the Cubs are doing.
