We had a kid on our block who said he won his bike from the buckets game. He was a dumb shit so we took a tool and loosened the metal piece on inflator part of his tires. So even when you fill up the tires, the air keeps coming out.

You wonder why we disliked the kid? He was guy who would fill his squirt gun up with bleach and then fire it at you. We taught him MANY lessons.

It was a big deal when we went. My brothers and cousins got to play one of the secondary games they did (I think it was a race on bouncing balls) and won some little prizes. Peeps just got to introduce a Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Everyone walked out with some kind of giveaway. I seem to remember them giving out individually wrapped cookies and some small promotional items

Watching on TV I always thought the studio crowd was huge. When we finally went and realized it was maybe 150 people in the crowd it was a real let down.

Thanks to that show I always wanted Archway cookies. Instead we had Nilla wafers in the pantry. But I was luckier than the kids whose moms thought Hydrox cookies were the same as Oreos.
