I think this take is wrong. Don't blame him for optimism because we wanted Machado or whatever. The team is the same it was last week but missed out on an addition. They knew there was no WS this year and they want to keep moving forward. Can't blame that.

Hey, I like Timmy. He's a passionate guy, has leadership skills, shown real flashes of being great defensively. But Reinsdorf blew an opportunity that he will never have again.
