That's why it was important for her to sleep with the son.

No this show will end pretty Occam’s Razor I dont expect a super big twist. That also would seem unnecessarily dramatic for this show. This show relies on mood more than it does plot.

Hayes is going to figure it out but die before he can do anything.

The finale was the best episode of the season, I'd give it a B for the season. No more true detective unless they get new writers, enough with the kid stuff.

I'm trying to figure out if he remembered why he was there and just made the decision on the spot to play senile so that he could let Julie live on after seeing how happy she was or if he truly forgot why he was there and never made the connection.

I enjoyed the hell out of that episode and the season as a whole.

I think he recognized Lucy at the end and why he was there came back to him but he didn't want to cause Julie any more pain.

Why did Henry pocket the address?

I'm wondering if Henry already knew or he was going to follow-up on it later. Other option is he was going to bang the TV interviewer again and give that info to her.

I forgot about the interviewer.

Everyone is enjoying happy family time and Henry is planning for more white pussy.

Natural to pocket the address, he could go missing in a week and find him there. I think he remembered why he was there too.

So was that really Julie who called in the earlier episode?

Yeah, they left Kindt untouched, but he was probably dead by 2015.

I thought the ending was overly simple, still a good season though.

It was a pretty good series, although I felt a little let down by the ending. What happened to the wife or did I totally miss that? I realize it probably
wouldn't have had much to do with the ending but we spent so much time watching her on screen it would have been nice to know if she had died, what
the hell happened. I was just expecting a little bit more there at the end. Why was the daughter so distant from him?

I think the wife just died, natural causes. The daughter was distant because, let's face it, Wayne was kind of an asshole.

One thing about Hayes old lady, what a voice. She should be doing books on tape.

That was the best scene in the episode.

I’ve just been lurking in this thread, and I must say that this was tremendous, but what now? What am I supposed to watch going forward?

I never thought much of Stephen Dorff, but now I’m a diehard fan. But I’d be shocked if the magic was ever recaptured.

Didn’t know who Ali was before this, but god damn was he great.

Apparently he's a big deal. I only knew him as Remy from House Of Cards. Didn't think much of him as an actor until the final episode.

Ok, check that. I looked up his Wikipedia and he was in 'The Gate', which I watched about 100 times as a kid.
