I agree. Charge the guy and say you have reason to believe that he staged the attack and move on. His editorializing of the incident could be a little problematic if it happens to go another way.

Anything's possible. We've all seen what experienced high powered lawyers can do. But at the end of the day, Jussie has to live with himself, whether he walks or not. Evading who you are and what you've done is never good in the long run.

Didn't the authorities find evidence of the letter in the brothers' house (magazine, stamps?)
Wasn't Jussie on the phone with these 2 guys before and after the staged attack?
Weren't the brothers on tape buying the red hats and the twine/noose?
Didn't Jussie identify the 2 'attackers' based on that surveillance tape?
Did Jussie write "Definitely not payment for slapping me around" in the memo section on his personal check?

The whole thing is just laughable, but I'm sure Don Lemon will get to the 'bottom' of it all eventually.

When the story first broke MANY on here doubted that there was even an attack (staged or not) at all. Then they doubted whether the two guys leaving the scene were the actual attackers. Turns out they were wrong on both counts.

So groupthink affirmations mean nothing to me. I think he is lying but I'm not willing to say for certain that I know he is lying.

I agree. You have the top cop misspeaking about the nature of the payment. You have the top cop apparently misspeaking about the letter. You have the two guys involved apparently changing their story once they went before the grand jury.


Do I think Jussie lying? yeah I think he is lying but there are some things that are troubling. I don't think those two guys would be in the vicinity at 2 A.M. unless they were instructed to be there. So from that standpoint its going to be tough for him to skate the charges. If it were two random guys then yeah but not two guys that you are unfamiliar with.
