Already a scary thing. Scarier: what happens after the parents die?

Yeah. It's very sad. I see couples in their 80s flying down to Florida with adult child with autism or other special needs, and you wonder what is going to happen to them.

Not autism but a more debilitating handicap is what my 22 year old nephew has. My sister and her husband are saints in my book. For some reason also all help aid or whatever seems to stop at 22.

There is a gal who I know that is 43 and in many ways she has the maturity and intellect of maybe a 11 year old (in some ways older but very much reliant on her parents) I often wonder how it feels for her to watch her contemporaries age, move out, get married and have kids while she is in this perpetual stage in life. I imagine her younger sister is next in line to take care of her as her parents age.
