According to dollars spent per WAR, you'd be getting 200% value on Baez at $30MM a year. DO IT. Perennial MVP candidate.

They probably can't extend Baez until the last year of Lester's contract. But then they will only have Darvish and Quintana.

Still, if Baez can replicate last year for the first 100 games of 2019, Ricketts has to think about extending Baez.
