I have had this discussion with JORR and CH before, but I think the views of Jewish stereotypes are both geographical and generational. The younger generations tend to see Jewish stereotypes as more harmless fun with no real animosity while some older generations may use the stereotypes literally and with animosity. Of course exceptions apply to both. I don't really think ToxicMas dislikes Jews, nor do I think that good dolphin likes them (because they are better lawyers).

I love ethnic jokes personally. In the pre pc days where anything goes. Love Archie Bunker's Italian jabs. But, he jabbed everyone. It's got to be a level playing field though. Good question. Good with money, money-grubbing, and cheap are similar but have different connotations. I honestly don't know if a Jew is truly offended by them, or consider it a point of pride as being smart/frugal. Do Asians take offense at being labeled as good at math?
