 The Pagano move is better than this nothingness.

Been following the mock draft process pretty closely so far, and from what I can tell it's pretty much impossible for GB to fuck up the 12th pick.

That's pretty funny. Here's betting you don't like their pick...assuming they even stay at 12.

I'd take that bet.

I'm fine with trading down too, it worked out well last year.

I guess I wouldn't be thrilled with Brian Burns, but it'd be fine, and I'd be pissed if they took a WR at 12, but I can't see that happening. I'm good with any of the names I've been hearing though. My ideal first round would be Sweat at 12 and Hockenson at 30. I've seen Hock mocked anywhere from top 10 to mid 2nd round.

Don't they still have the dumb GM?

Nope. Guy had a decent initial draft and completely hosed New Orleans for their 1st this year.

WalterFootball has them taking Clin Ferrell. I think you would have to take that outcome running to the bank as a Pack fan.

Don't think he falls past Detroit but yeah I'd love that

If Gutekunst fills a couple of needs via free agency prior to the draft then I'm on board. That would be what separates him from Thompson. Too many holes to fill by the draft only.

And he's willing to do that, which is at least a nice first step.

His forays into FA didn't pan out last year, but they were all reasonable shots to take that aren't hindering what he can do this year. The extension Nick Boyle just signed with Baltimore makes that Graham contract looks less worse. Not sure why mediocre TEs are getting paid like that.

I'd love to see them go after Justin Houston and Eric Weddle. I think Landon Collins and Earl Thomas would cost too much.

How about Anthony Barr? That would fill a gaping hole nicely.

You already have somebody on the roster who loves to do just that.

You see to think about Aaron Rodgers’ penis quite often. Is it a pathological thing?

Depends on what the deal looks like. I guess his QB pressure numbers are better than I expected, but I don't consider him a very good pass rusher and would be wary of paying him like one.

He was a great pass rusher coming out of college (21.5 sacks and 41.5 tackles for loss his last two years at UCLA) but for some reason Zimmer didn't use him in that role very often in MN.

Barr is one of those great athlete master of none tweener guys? Is Pettine's D more flexible with tweeners than Zimmer?

Zimmer is a great D coach. I'd be nervous the dude just sucks if Zimmer couldn't figure him out.

No Collins.

I say yes to Thomas. Safety has been a shit show since Nick Collins got injured. But I don't think the new GM has any idea what he's doing. Stupid ass Jimmy Graham is exhibit A.

Too early to tell on Gutey. He also drafted the first good CB we've ever drafted in my life, and managed to get another 1st rounder out of it.

I think you're crazy on Collins. NY has been a dysfunctional shitshow the past 2 seasons, but he's an All Pro guy entering his prime.

Houston and Weddle would be huge. Talk about building a nightmare defense of seven years ago. What's Elvis Dumervill up to?

Hope they resign BJ Raji just so he can end Chicago's season again in a playoff game.

Za'Darius Smith & Adrian Amos.

Don't like the signings. Seem like guys who are overrated due to excelling in a system.

I haven't seen any numbers yet so it depends on that, but we needed an edge rusher and safety badly. I'm fine with it.

Isn’t always weird how role players get better on already great defenses and leaving free agents struggle under new systems.

Amos especially is going to suck. Packers don't have a Mack to make things easy for the secondary.

They fill 2 needs which gives them much more freedom in the draft. Now I’d like them use some of the extra picks they have to move up from 30 to get 2 difference makers (along with the 12).
