Checked out some Giants boards and it's about 90/10 negative.

Browns fans are pumped as expected.

The best part of this stuff is when people point out all the other dumb things compounding the one standout dumb thing.

The Ginas could have had Cleveland's core right now.

Yeah the Giants are a train wreck. Good for Browns fans. I bet Nagy would love to have that lineup.

To be fair, it's a rebuilding year for them so the dead money doesn't matter as much this year. They'll have like $100M in cap room next year.

Barkley is going to get ridden into the ground.

It seems to be the Browns are trying to compete next season.

Division is wide open with the Steelers and Ravens losing tons of talent.

I don’t think it’s wide open anymore. I think Cleveland is the significant front runner.

On paper, yes. Have to see it on the field first.

For a whole season, yes. We saw it on the field after Kitchens was promoted to OC and Hue was fired last year. That’s before adding Odell, Thomas, and Richardson today.

If I'm him, I'm going to get my Todd Gurley extension and guaranteed millions right now and grabbing the $5MM savings on this year's obj money to start.

He was a first round pick. Ineligible for an extension until the year after next.

Browns move up to 14-1 to win the SB next year, 5th best odds in the NFL currently.

Fun on both sides of the ball too. Hopefully my guy Kitchens is worth half a fuck as a HC. He was awesome in a very small sample size as OC.

7-9 confirmed.

As a lifelong giants fan, i am delighted with this trade. This team was terrible with him and was likely going to continue be terrible with him for at least another couple of seasons going forward. They are riddled with holes, and while he is truly a top-tier WR they were better off getting some assets in return for him. At least they are self-aware enough to know that the quicker they blow this mess up the quicker they can become relevant again. As for that hideous drafting record, that is almost all thanks to Jerry Reese, who was wisely let go. Anyone who thinks the giants screwed up by taking Barkley instead of Josh Rosen or Sam Darnold is insane.

I am not saying the Giants won this trade because if they dont use these picks they got back wisely they wont have, but I appreciate them taking some steps to try to re-build. They have 12 draft picks this year including 2 1st-rounders, a 2nd, a 3rd, 2 4ths and 3 5th-rounders. they COULD fill a lot of holes and possibly get Haskins if that is they guy they are looking for.

My personal feeling is I love the trade but I also know that if they fuck up this draft and DON'T land Haskins or another future QB than it probably was a squandered opportunity.

They screwed up by not taking Darnold. I am perfectly sane.
