1 year deal. Much better than an overpay for Amos.

100% Truth.

Quote:
To go along with their new front attack, the Packers also signed former Bears safety Adrian Amos to a four-year, $36 million deal (with $12 million guaranteed). Considering the market-setting deals that players like Landon Collins and Tyrann Mathieu received this week, snagging Amos for just $9 million per year, with minimal guarantees, is a steal for Green Bay. It might be the best value any team found early in free agency.

But now he plays for the Packers, so he will suck.

The fall you are setting yourself up for is a mighty one. Instead of cautious optimism for your team, you appear to be all in. Beware, FF.

Absolutely all in. Cautious optimism is for loser fans like the Lions. Plus you guys have zero idea how bad Dix is and it's going to be a treat to watch in real time next fall.

HaHa isn't as bad as FF is making him out to be. Some clear bias here. And especially on a 1 year low-risk deal, this isn't the "gotca" you want, Favrio

You’ll see. You won’t be able to claim you weren’t properly warned.

The signing is worth it just to hear his name called multiple times per game.

Ha-Ha his first couple years was a good safety. He was actually the one guy in the secondary who'd lay the boom. But then he started to change by taking awful angles and becoming into a piss poor tackler.

He could be OK in a defense where he'll be the worst player. But why not just sign a street guy for peanuts.

And every other good safety in the league is getting multiple years and significant dollars, but yeah Haha's just as good as them but willingly took a fraction of what they got paid to play for Chicago.

Your gullibility knows no bounds Bob.

The Redskins publicly said they wanted him back. I'm sure there were better offers. Throw in the towel Favrio

PFF numbers dont lie

Clinton-Dix got a fresh start in the middle of 2018 after being traded to the Washington Redskins, and the former Alabama star had his best year yet with a 79.3 overall grade. He continued on his impressive trajectory in coverage, where he now has 17 interceptions, 17 pass breakups and just five touchdowns allowed. Not to mention, he’s also played 1000-plus snaps in all five of his seasons, making him a sturdy and reliable option for a team looking to upgrade.

You come to a winner like the Bears to get a big contract from other teams. You go to the Packers and Skins, you have to take less to rebuild your reputation after playing for shit teams.

Honey Badger signed a cheap, 1 year deal with a great defense last year and catapulted it into a bigger deal the following year. clearly this is what HaHa is thinking here.

Unlike MANY here, I prefer Bush to Dix.

Deon will be the starter.

contract is small enough that they can probably cut in pre-season if it plays out that way
