I smoke weed every day of the week but haven't yet so far today. I also didn't give an opinion on the contract. Just the facts, ma'am.

They're gonna bring Breeland back for another year.

not today, when Bashaud made the post. He also had to wait well into free agency last year to get a deal

According to NFL Next Gen Stats, Amos was the nearest defender on 41 targets and didn't allow a touchdown in 2018 for the Chicago Bears. That was the most targets without allowing a TD by any safety in the NFL last season.

That was because of an infected foot, not because he couldn't get a deal.

Following the season, Breeland became an unrestricted free agent. On March 16, 2018, Breeland agreed terms with the Carolina Panthers on a three-year, $24 million contract, including $11 million in guaranteed money.[26] However, He failed his physical having cut his foot while on a visit to the Dominican Republic that later became infected; the contract was therefore voided and became a free agent again.

Careful, all these fancy pants stat nerd banks also show that HaHa was pretty good last year too, so that busts up your narrative.

id be surprised if anyone thinks haha is better than amos... but considering the contract the values of the two players....the bears appear to be getting a bargain

Not true. It shows he was good in the first six games last year and then fell off a fucking cliff. Week's 1-8 PFF had him graded as the 2nd best safety in the NFL. Weeks 9-17 he was 36th.

And that's who Haha is. A very high variance of outcome player. It's the exact type of player a great defense with no other holes shouldn't want.

Ironic because per the Redskins, it seems they were happy with his performance. So maybe this shows your stat calculators are worth shit for evaluating football players.

No disrespect but FF doesn't have LTG's discipline and desire to go at this for hours and hours. He will eventually say fuck it and light up another one.

Bout 20-30 more minutes at the office and then I will leave you guys alone for a bit to wallow in the misery that is having HaHa Clinton-Dix play for your favorite football team.

PFF assigning HHCD a good rating is an indictment of PFF's rating system. The market has spoken and shown PFF's system to be faulty.

Amos will be out there without Eddie Jackson, on a bad defense, with little decent defensive coaching. If you like that, enjoy.

Dix will be the 11th man on a real defense with reach coaching. He'll be a warm body with a one-year contract. Fine.

DT showing up before tourney time to set the record straight.

Good luck to Amos when he actually has to cover someone next year without a pass rush to protect him.

I think Pettine is a pretty good defensive coordinator--the Pack defense should be improved next year.

He was the D coordinator this past year, too.
