What was your old elementary school lunch box? Six Million Dollar Man? Evil Knievil? My Little Pony?

Light 'em up CFMB!

Honestly don't remember for sure but there is a pretty good chance it was Garfield.

Kind of sad all kids have today is some sort of bland thermal-cloth thing. How much cooler would a Blackhawks/Kaner lunchbox or something like that be?

   So, I also had the 6 million dollar man lunchbox. Then, when I was in 2nd grade I was walking down the aisle of the bus after school, holding my lunchbox. Some older girl was sitting in a seat and she reached up and grabbed my hat off my head and threw it to the back of the bus and then started laughing. Without so much as a moment of hesitation I cracked her hard across the face with the 6 million dollar man lunchbox (thermos inside). She started screaming and crying. End result, my parents were told that I was no longer allowed to bring a lunchbox to school and instead had to start using paper bags. Other end result = that bitch never fucked with me again.

I can't find the exact one I had. Looked like the one below but it was just Austin in the ring with his usual jean vest

I had the one that lasted like five years, then I went to brown paper sacks when that's what the cool kids were doing. I remember my grandma would sometimes give me a bag from the drug store or something. Then I'd get made fun of b/c my brown paper sack was not of the right size. So my grandma would cut the top 1/3 off the top of them. But then the dimensions were still wrong and I'd still get made fun of. Finally my parents relented and bought me the brown paper bags that evey other kid had.

I had a Peanuts one, too.

I don't remember which grade I was in when this happened, maybe 2nd, but one kid tried to bring his chocolate milk home by pouring it into his lunchbox instead of simply closing the carton and brining that home. When he closed the lunchbox and picked it up the milk seeped out the seam between the two halves. He must have thought it would work like a big, square thermos.

Did either of you guys see the Charlie Brown exhibit that was at the Museum of Science and Industry in 2012? I was great.

I haven't been to the Charles Schultz museum

Charles Schulz is one of my absolute favorite cartoonists. He was talented, creative and a master at his craft.

We had hot lunch offered at grade school (humble brag).

Took brown bags to high school.

My Dad had a cool aluminum lunchbox with the Thermos in the top, he replaced the Thermos several times but the box lasted the 30+ years I remember him working. Mom still has it.

So I remember Knight Rider and Fox and The Hound. I think there was a Dukes of Hazard as well but that might of been brothers. We only had boxes 1-3rd grade then switched to brown bags.
