Grilled it on indirect heat for 90 minutes yesterday. It was the best corned beef I have ever had. Will never do it any other way again.

I'm a fan of corned beef.

The corned beef is great but the cabbage is fantastic when it is boiled with the meat and takes on all its flavors. I could make a meal out of the cabbage and potatoes exclusively

We had the most disgusting corned beef this weekend. I'm usually a fan, but this cut was too fatty. When we put the leftovers in the fridge, you could see the globs of fat all over it. Gross.

I had it tonight. You cannot have it every week or other week, but every couple of months and on St. Patrick's Day is ok. It's tasty with a good cut, even with fat. That's where the flavor is. You have to cook the heck out of it. It's not good if it's stringy, like eating rubber. I don't mind cabbage either.

If you are on the NW side, Harrington's has the most amazing mustard specifically designed to go with corned beef. It's pretty spicy so just a little enhances the flavor.

I have completely turned away from Dijon. I used to like it as a spicy alternative decades ago but since Mac created the mustard belt, mustard choices have exploded and I really don't care for the wine aftertaste
